Skills Development and Livelihood

With a vision to see young unemployed people live their lives with dignity, purpose and hope;

Dream Africa creates opportunities for holistic development through three key areas:

Livelihood Empowerment, Skills Development and Social Enterprise.

The Skills Development and Livelihood Program impart training to those in need, allowing them to stand on their own feet and become financially stable. It empowers them to take charge of their lives with dignity and determination.

Every individual has certain inherent talents which may not be restricted to the realm of education but encompass a wider area of vocational skills. Many young people may not excel in studies but possess certain skills that can be nurtured and honed to develop into sustainable employment.

Dream Africa provides vocational, entrepreneurial, and skills training to early school dropouts and non-literates, at the community level to enable them to establish their enterprises and check the rural-urban drift of the youth in search of non-existent jobs.

Our training centres provide entrepreneurial training and create a unique space to make skill development aspirational for rural youth. It fosters a culture of innovation, exploration and learning for the rural youths, and eventually linking them to employment or entrepreneurial careers.

The program improves the productivity and competitiveness of the skilled workforce and raises the income-earning capacities of people, especially young women and low-income groups, through the provision of quality-oriented, industry-focused, and competency-based training programmes and complementary services.

Through talent assessment and skills advancement opportunities, the beneficiaries are on the road to a better life with the confidence to succeed
